A girl from Washington, DC who was raised by everyone but her own mother had big dreams. She believed in herself regardless of what others thought was impossible for her. With no connection to Hollywood she worked endlessly pounding the pavement, negative bank account, missed flights, long bus rides, going days without being with her two children, while constantly being told no and how she just wasn't right for the roles she so badly wanted. Discouragement stepped in at times, but in her gut she knew acting was ingrained in her soul. She kept going, and now this. This is Mashawn. 2000 seems like such a long time ago, but over the years since establishing a career in acting, she has grown a lot. Now, passionate about putting her skills and innovation to work for herself, as well as her fellow thespians. The end result?
